Fifty-five years ago, the Howard University School of Communications was founded under the leadership of our first dean, the late Tony Brown. Today, as the Cathy Hughes School of Communications, we proudly celebrate that legacy while looking toward what’s next.
Throughout this milestone year, we will commemorate our 55th anniversary through Beyond 55, a yearlong celebration featuring events on and off campus, opportunities to reconnect with and celebrate our distinguished alumni, and moments that honor the extraordinary impact of the CHSOC community as we continue to shape the future of communications.
This is more than an anniversary. It’s Beyond 55.
