Quazi Z. Ahmed is an adjunct lecturer in the Department of Media, Journalism and Film. Her teaching interests include communication policy, introduction to mass communication, history of broadcasting and film, and public communication. Her research interests are telecommunication policies of developing countries and the effects of new communication technology. These studies are important for several reasons. Few studies have been done on these topics, fewer focus on the populations she explores. She received her Ph.D. in Mass Communication from Howard University and completed master’s in Communication at the California State University, Fullerton.
